Lycian Way Trekking
The Lycian way has been the first long distance trekking path along Turkey's coastline stretching from Fethiye until Antalya. It has been developed to one of the most popular cultural places within Europe. Patara, your destination has been one of the most important ancient cities of Lycia for 2000 years.
Take wonderful walks along the beautiful coastline with breathtaking views, flowerful slopes, small villages, past ancient sites and be inspired by the beautiful natural surroundings.
Sunset at Sand Dunes
One of the first beauties that comes to mind when Patara is mentioned is the world famous sand dunes. Patara sand dunes, which are formed in golden yellow sands, are perfect for taking photos.
Footprints in the wind-covered sand, reshaped sand hills, idyllic compositions that emerged before the sun sets into the sea are fascinating. One of the most beautiful activities is drinking wine in the Mediterranean evenings on the dunes of Patara.
Saklikent is an approximately 18 km long and up to 300 meters high gorge. The river Xanthos has made its way from the rocky highlands to the lowlands - a brute spectacle, especially in early summer, when the river still performs relatively large amounts of water, the gorge is already released to the commission.
Saklikent Gorge has discovered in the 80s by villagers and is close to the Taurus Mountains between Fethiye and Kas, east of Esencay Valley.
A canoe ride (also suitable for children) is leading on the Esen River through the national park and pristine nature to its mouth at Patara beach. The ride is approximately 15 km and is a nature experience. It is accompanied by wild birds and you can, if you're lucky, even encounter turtles.
For Canoeing adventure our group leave Patara at 9:30 and get to the river in about 15 minutes. By the time we are preparing the canoes our guests are informed about canoeing and valuables which had to be taken with us are put in water-proof safety boxes, and life jackets are provided.
Kas & Kalkan Diving
Historical Basis; The fist traces of settlement in Kas area go back to 8,000s BC. Area was the host for Lycian Civilisation in ancient times and was an important settlement throughout the history. Habesos is the most ancient name of Kas ever known.
From time to time, we are arranging daily tours on demand. We are leaving the harbor at 9:30 AM, going to one of the day-long distance (and out of regular tour) points, having our first diving there and then choosing one of the turquoise-blue bays for BBQ party. After lunch, we either rest or go hiking until the next dive.
Kekova Boat Tour
This region, located between the Kas and Demre districts of Antalya, is one the most important touristic areas of Turkey. Kekova is the generic name of region covering Ucagiz village, Simena (Kalekoy), Batıksehir, Akvaryum bay and Tersane bay.
The area is steeped in history and remnants of Lycia, Rome, and Byzantine times can all be seen. But what really draws people to the region is to glimpse the sunken city where was destroyed by an earthquake in 2nd Century AD.
