About Xanthos
A small boutique hotel where the Lycian coast does the talking.
The hotel
Xanthos Boutique Hotel is a peaceful boutique hotel set on Palm Hill in the village of Patara, in the Kaş district of Antalya on Turkey’s southern Lycian coast, welcoming guests with warm Turkish hospitality since 2007.
The hotel has 18 comfortable rooms in total, all with a balcony and individually controlled air-conditioning. The four categories are Double Room, Twin Room, Triple Room and a Two-Bedroom Family Room.
At the heart of our lush garden, a 180 m² half-Olympic swimming pool and a children’s pool offer a relaxed setting to cool off and unwind through the day. The pool terrace, pool bar, sunbeds, umbrellas and cushions are all free for our guests.
Days at Xanthos
Begin the day with a generous open-buffet Turkish breakfast served in the garden, in the shade of the trees. If you like, we can prepare a packed lunch for a full day of exploring.
Spend your day sunbathing on Patara’s 18 kilometres of golden sand, cooling off in our half-Olympic pool, or discovering the enchanting atmosphere of ancient Lycia.
In the evening our restaurant serves the finest of Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine, prepared with fresh, local produce. A rich selection of meze, fresh fish, carefully prepared meat dishes and vegetarian options suits every taste — and much of the vegetables and herbs come from our own garden or from local producers in the region.
Patara & getting here
Patara beach — one of the longest and most striking stretches of sand in Turkey — is a short drive from the hotel. The ruins of the ancient city of Patara, on UNESCO’s World Heritage Tentative List, are also nearby.
For guests who want to explore Patara and its surroundings, we are glad to arrange sea kayaking, diving, Kekova boat tours, the Saklıkent canyon, Kaputaş beach, walks on the Lycian Way, and private excursions to the region’s finest historical and natural sights.
Patara is a protected national park, so the coast stays wild and uncrowded. The hotel is about 1.5 hours from Dalaman airport and 3 hours from Antalya; the gentlest seasons are May–June and September–October, when the weather is mild and the beach is at its quietest.
